# Other operations

### Lock/unlock

If a palette is locked, we cannot remove colors within that palette. However, we can reorder and add more colors

When opening an artwork with a non-empty palette, the default setting is to lock the palette.

We can toggle the lock status manually if needed.

### Clear

It's quite obvious :D, if we select Clear, it will remove all colors of the current palette.
