# Preview and sorting

### File preview

The gallery supports 3 types of file previews:

* Icon - Display a thumbnail of the file's content
* Large icon - Like icon but the thumbnail is bigger
* List - It doesn't show the thumbnail, files are displayed in a vertical list

### File sorting

We can sort the files in the gallery by the files' names, modification date, or file size. We can also select the order to be ascending or descending.
